Experience and Background:
Tyler Richter began his professional journey as a Registered Behavior Technician, working closely with children and adolescents to help them develop adaptive behaviors and life skills. He later transitioned into the classroom as a 5th grade teacher, deepening his insight and empathy for the challenges faced by children, teens, and families.
Driven by a desire to expand his ability to support others, Tyler is currently completing his Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. While his career began with children and families, Tyler is passionate about helping individuals of all ages find control, clarity, and confidence in their lives.

Tyler practices a person-centered approach to therapy, grounded in the belief that empathic, genuine relationships are essential for meaningful growth. He helps clients explore their inner strengths and develop the tools they need to face life’s challenges and move toward lasting change.

Tyler is committed to evidence-based practices and lifelong learning in order to provide the best care possible. He treats each client with dignity and respect, creating a safe environment where individuals can uncover and use their strengths in their healing journey.
Personal Background:
Tyler is happily married and the proud father of two children—and a new puppy. He enjoys spending time with his family, as well as music, reading, mountain biking, hiking, and running.
