Getting Started / First Appointment
What is your refund policy?

What should I bring or know before my first session?
Once your appointment is scheduled, we’ll send you paperwork to complete before you come in. Filling this out in advance helps us get to know you and ensures your first session runs smoothly.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Our support team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM (GMT). Feel free to reach out during these hours for assistance.
Where are you located?
We have two locations: Layton at 2317 N Hill Field Rd, Suite 103, and Ogden at 1150 Depot Drive, Suite 280.
How long is a typical first appointment?
All therapy appointments, including the first session, are typically one hour long.
Do you offer in-person or telehealth appointments?
Yes, we offer both in-person and telehealth appointments for new clients. This allows you to choose the option that best fits your needs, comfort level, and schedule.
What kinds of services do you offer?
We offer a range of mental health services, including individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy. We also provide psychological testing and assessments such as ADHD evaluations, learning disability testing, cognitive testing, and diagnostic assessments. In addition, we offer medication management and group therapy services.
Services & Types of Therapy
What issues do you treat or commonly work with?
Our providers work with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. We also offer learning and developmental assessments, as well as support for relationship, family, and couples-related concerns.
Can I use both therapy and medication management together?
Yes — we integrate services so medication, therapy, and/or testing can work together depending on your needs.
Insurance, Payment & Rates
Which insurance plans do you accept?
We accept a variety of insurance plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield (most plans), Cigna, Select Health (most plans), United Healthcare, PEHP, and TriCare/TriWest. If you do not see your insurance listed or have questions about coverage, please contact our office and we will be happy to help.
Will you accept out-of-network benefits?
If your insurance plan isn’t listed, please contact our front desk. We may be able to help you use out-of-network benefits, and we also offer a self-pay option.
Do you accept HSA, flexible payment, or private pay?
Yes, we accept HSA payments and offer private pay options. Clergy-assisted pay is also available for those who qualify.
Scheduling, Cancellations & Changes
What if I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment?
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations or changes made within less than 24 hours may be subject to a late or missed appointment fee.
Can I request a different therapist?
Yes, you can request a different therapist. Please contact our front office staff, and they will assist you with the process.
Do you offer virtual or telehealth appointments?
Yes, we offer both in-person and virtual/telehealth appointments, so you can choose the option that best fits your needs and schedule.
Emergency / Crisis & Outside Business Hours
What do I do in a crisis or after hours?
If you are experiencing a crisis, we do offer crisis appointments. Please fill out the Crisis Appointment Request Form online here
to request immediate support.
For emergencies outside of our office or if you need urgent help, call 911, the Utah Crisis Line at 988, or the National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988. Our office is not able to respond to emergencies after hours.
Do you offer same-day or walk-in visits?
Walk-in availability depends on the type of appointment. If you are experiencing a crisis, we will respond within 24 hours to ensure you get the support you need. For non-crisis sessions, appointments should be scheduled in advance, but we have therapists who can usually see you within 24–48 hours on business days. We’ll work with you to find the soonest available time.
Psychological Testing — FAQ
What kinds of psychological testing do you provide?
We offer assessments for ADHD, learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, cognitive/IQ testing, and diagnostic clarification to support treatment planning and documentation.
What should I expect during the psychological testing process?
Testing starts with an initial consultation, followed by tailored assessments. Afterward, we provide clear results and recommendations to guide next steps.
Why might someone choose psychological testing?
Testing helps identify cognitive, behavioral, or emotional patterns, supports accurate diagnoses, informs treatment, and provides documentation for school or workplace needs.
