Experience and Background:
Meg earned her undergraduate degrees in Psychology, Elementary and Deaf Education and later her MEd in Psychology from Utah State University. Meg taught in K-12 education for 14 years, before moving into the higher education space, making her an empathic support and helpful resource to families. Meg believes nervous system regulation, mindfulness and self-compassion are key components of individual work; these themes (and tools to enhance them) will emerge when working with Meg.
At the intersection of Meg's own divorce, education and profession, she became passionate about supporting partners uncouple with more emotional intelligence, grace and gratitude; as well as supporting co-parents foster the healthy cognitive, social and emotional development of children through separation/divorce.
Meg also has experience supporting individuals through faith/identity crises and facilitates exploration, growth and healing through a safe therapeutic relationship.

Meg values a collaborative approach to therapy, high in warmth and positive regard, where clients feel safe to share and explore their stories. Pragmatic theories of psychotherapy resonate with Meg; through the lens of the cognitive model, Meg integrates evidence-based tools and techniques, tailored to best meet the needs of individual clients.
