Experience and Background:
David began his professional career as an architectural designer before transitioning into teaching and mentoring youth and adult learners. Through this work and volunteer experience, he developed a passion for helping others manage stress, build resilience, and navigate change. These experiences led him to pursue graduate training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as he prepares for a career as a professional counselor.
Therapeutic Approach:
David’s approach is collaborative and is based on the belief that meaningful change is possible through honest reflection and intentional action. He works with clients to clarify what matters to them, identify clear goals, and strengthen their skills in emotional regulation, boundaries, and effective communication. This work supports clients in living more aligned and purposeful lives.
Personal philosophy:
David believes therapy is most effective when it balances empathy with meaningful action. He aims to create a respectful environment where clients can speak honestly, confront difficult questions, and take control of the changes they want in their lives.
Personal Background:
David is happily married and a proud father. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and volunteering in his community.
