Experience and Background:
Steven earned his Master’s in Psychology from Utah State University and brings a deep level of empathy and compassion to his work. Steven strives to listen and understand his clients fully to help others heal and transform their lives. He began his career working as a High School Counselor and is now happy to also help individuals and families through therapy. Steven strives to provide unconditional positive regard, showing his clients their individual importance and how meaningful they are to him through his listening. This helps create a safe and supportive space for healing. His training enables him to assist clients in modifying negative thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and challenging them, allowing more productive thoughts to take their place. Steven also has experience in crisis intervention, allowing him to help clients decompress and return to a calm place where sound decisions can be made.
