Sarah Casper, LCSW

In my practice, I work together with you to help discover your true self and overcome things that have been holding you back from living the life you desire.  My biggest goal in therapy is to help you feel seen and heard.  Striving to create a safe space where you feel comfortable to be yourself and discussing whatever is on your mind is very important to me and our work together.  I work with individuals age 17 and above.

As a therapist I have worked with anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, body image issues, social anxiety, life transitions, substance abuse, LGBTQIA+ issues, health related trauma and concerns, aging, terminal illness, grief, and relationship issues.  I most strongly align myself with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Solution Focused Therapy.  I am trained in Trauma-Focused CBT and am certified as Trauma Informed Yoga 500 practitioner.

In my spare time I love spending time with my family, and we enjoy traveling and camping together.  I like to read, swim, attend yoga classes, cook, and play the clarinet and saxophone in a local symphony.  Also, I am originally from the South, so don’t be surprised if you hear a southern accent or word slip out every now and then.  I look forward to working with you!
